About the event
This all-day workshop is designed to accommodate an intermediate skill level on the
potter’s wheel. Participation in this workshop will require that the attendees are
able to wedge, center, open, and throw a short cylinder.
The day will be designed to include learning how to make different kinds of mugs
and cups or expanding on your present mug making skills. We will be using the
wheel to produce a variety of mug/cup forms. Clay rollers, clay stamps, pulled
handles, expanding the cylinder, combining thrown and hand-built components, as
well as other techniques will be taught, and you will be given time to practice these
skills.
This workshop is taught by Milt Doda of Milkhouse Pottery. Milt has decades of experience creating with and teaching clay.Â
Tuition is $65/student and includes 10lbs of clay. Questions - contact Stephanie: thirdbranchpottery@gmail.com | 802.417.4727Â
